Who we are
RDEC is an independent, registered CBO operating in Wajir County, Kenya, dedicated to empowering vulnerable and underserved communities through grassroots-driven development.
Established in 2024, we combine emergency response, capacity-building, and service delivery with strong community participation. Our approach prioritizes engaging local communities—especially women, youth, and religious leaders—to foster peace, tolerance, and inclusive development.
We address critical issues including women and youth empowerment, gender-based violence prevention, health awareness, education, and human rights promotion across Wajir County.
